Details may be altered somewhat, and the end result is up to the team that takes up the mission. All clients are NPC unless someone would like to play them.
This list of missions is only for KONOHA SHINOBI only; other villages must look through the list of missions posted by their Kage/Leader. Please use the following template on the next post when requesting a mission and post in this thread.

Name of Mission: Capture Tora Rank: D Ninja Needed: A team of one to three (preferably three) Genin—or above, if a ninja is bored. Description: That pesky cat is off on the streets again. Twelve years later, and the woman’s cat is still on the run. She has last her beloved pet again, and she needs help to return the pet unharmed and safely. Objective: Locate, capture, and return the elusive feline in a timely manner. Risk: Low—scratches from the cat and any mild injury taken while running around the village Failure Likelihood: Very low
Name of Mission: Painting Rank: D Ninja needed: A team of one to three (preferably three) Genin—or above, if a ninja is bored Description: Several buildings in the area are getting older, and their paint is chipping frequently. In order to bring business and look professional, store keepers are looking to repaint their buildings. Objective: Repaint ‘x’ amount of buildings—the more done, the more paid. It should be well-done and timely. Risk: Low—falling from a ladder or getting paint-covered Failure likelihood: Very low
Name of Mission: Harvesting Rank: D Ninja needed: A team of one to three (preferably three) Genin—or above, if a ninja is bored Description: Winter is setting is, and the farming class villagers need to bring in their crops before the cold sets in to kill them. A good portion of the village’s food comes from here. Objective: Gather as many crops as possible depending on how long the client requires services. Risk: Low—soreness from repetitive movements while gathering plants Failure likelihood: Very low
Name of Mission: Ramen Help Rank: D Ninja needed: A team of one to three Genin (three preferred) or a higher rank if bored Description: Ichiraku Ramen is in its busy season. The owners have requested some assistance in the kitchens, especially newer ninja, that are willing to wash dishes and help with cooking. Objective: Help out the shop for as long as hired—the longer hours, the more money is paid. The tasks vary from washing dishes, helping cook, and taking out the garbage. Risk: Low—potential burns in the kitchen Failure likelihood: Very low
Name of Mission: Shopping Rank: D Ninja needed: A team of one to three Genin (three preferred) or a higher rank if bored Description: An elderly woman needs the help of kind people to help her get what she needs at the market. Objective: Read the list of what the client wants and go out to purchase with money provided to get what is listed. Do not lose the money, and do not leave anything out. Risk: Low—none really involved Failure likelihood: Very low
C Ranked
Name of Mission: Courier Rank: C Ninja needed: A team of Genin or higher rank—if the former, a Jounin accompanist is recommended. Higher rank preferred. Description: Updates and other messages are needed to be dispatched to the smaller villages in country’s borders frequently, as well as news about impending danger or economy. Delivering these messages is of utmost importance. Objective: Carry messages for as long as assigned between the specified village and the main village and do not allow them to be intercepted by anyone who may know of the mission. Risk: Varies—potential wounds from going through forests—from animals of foliage—and very low risk of rogue, low-ranked ninja since within country’s borders Failure likelihood: Low
Name of Mission: Escort Rank: C Ninja needed: A team of Genin or higher rank—if the former, a Jounin accompanist is recommended. Higher rank preferred. Description: A person traveling from the main village, carrying a valuable package, needs a group of escorts to take him or her safely back to his or her home village safely. Objective: Do not allow any opposing ninja get to the client; protect them and the package at all costs. Risk: Varies—potential wounds from going through forests from animals or foliage, very low risk of ninja attack since within country’s borders Failure likelihood: Low
Name of Mission: Assassination Rank: C Ninja needed: Chuunin—single or in team Description: D to C-ranked criminals need to be arrested and extracted for information depending on the crime or killed. Objective: Track and intercept the criminals assigned to arrest or kill them quickly and efficiently. Risk: Varies—potentially fatal, wounds able to be taken from battle or for traveling Failure likelihood: Medium
Name of Mission: Healing Rank: C Ninja needed: A medic and potentially an escort for the medic Description: A richer man of a small village within the border of the country has fallen very ill. He has requested the service of one of the medics from the shinobi village of the country he resides in. Objective: Travel to the village and the man’s estate and heal the illness that has befallen him. Return to medic’s home village safely and quickly. Risk: Mid—could be intercepted along the way, wounds from traveling Failure likelihood: Low to medium
Name of Mission: Protection Rank: C Ninja needed: A team of Chuunin Description: A farmer in the area has recently been threatened by thieves in the coming-winter season for his animals and food. He is greatly troubled and has requested help. Objective: Defend the man as he worked and attempt to catch the thieves (about Genin to Chuunin-level ninja) and turn them in. Risk: Medium-- Potentially fatal—wounds able to be taken from battle of from traveling. Failure likelihood: Medium
Name of Mission: Search and Rescue Rank: C Ninja Needed: A genin cell with Jounin leader or higher ranked teams Description: In the surrounding area, a young boy has gone missing from his home. It is suspected that has either run off or has been kidnapped. Either way, the villagers are worried by the sudden disappearance. Objective: Search the area and locate the missing boy. Bring him back unharmed and quickly. Risk: Medium—potentially a kidnapping, so could be intercepted. Wounds are able to be taken from traveling or from battles. Failure Likelihood: Varies due to circumstances; about low to medium
B Ranked
Name of Mission: Reconnaissance Rank: B Ninja needed: Chuunin—preferably a team Description: It seems there’s been some dishonesty in the village. Suspicious has arisen that one of the feudal lords of the village has been allowing some missing nin onto the land he rules over outside the village. A team is needed to gather information on this before action is taken. Objective: Sneak about the land of the feudal lord and watch for any mysterious or suspicious actions. Report back frequently and do not get caught. Risk: Medium to high—potential to be found out or attacked Failure likelihood: Medium
Name of Mission: Guard Rank: B Ninja Needed: Chuunin—preferably in a team Description: It has been suspected that a group of rouge ninja have been planning to attack the daimyo of the village. Perturbed by the news, he has hired a group of ninja to guard him and be watchful of any movement. Objective: Protect the daimyo at all costs and kill the ninja set on taking his life. Risk: High—potentially fatal from battle Failure Likelihood: Medium
Name of Mission: Assassination Rank: B Ninja needed: Chuunin—single or in team—preferably more skilled or specialized in spying Description: Several C to B criminals need to be intercepted and arrested—some killed. Their crimes are mild to pertaining to murder and must be stopped. Objective: Track and locate the criminals. Depending on which is assigned, arrest or kill the target. Risk: High—potentially fatal from battle and wounds from travel Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Information Rank: B Ninja needed: Chuunin or higher kunoichi Description: Information on criminals and enemy villages is known by a very dangerous and prestigious criminal who has a notorious vice. The handsome criminal is supposed to hold valuable information. Objective: Intercept the target and attempt to seduce information out of him. When what is learned, kill him and return to the village in a timely manner. Risk: High—potentially fatal from being found out or in a fight; potential for also not dodging what is insinuated Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Scroll Retrieval Rank: B Ninja needed: Chuunin or Jounin team Description: An important document was captured by enemies and is currently held in their base. The scroll is important to the village, and it must be retrieved from the enemy quickly. Objective: Track and locate enemies and their base. Once found, sneak in undetected and locate the scroll that is being kept. Once retrieved, leave at once and return to the village. Risk: High—potentially fatal from battle or being located (could lead to imprisonment and possibly torture) Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Escort Rank: B Ninja Needed: Chuunin or Jounin—preferably team Description: A diplomat from a shaky allied village needs to be escorted back to his or her home village after getting out of the meeting with the Kage. However, he or she is highly targeted by an enemy ninja for the information and their high ranking status. Objective: Protect the diplomat at all costs, as it could save the village from war. Do not let them get harmed and get them safely back home in a timely manner. Risk: High—potentially fatal from battle by interception from enemies or wounds during travel between villages. Failure Likelihood: Medium to High
A Ranked
Name of Mission: Disappearance Rank: A Ninja needed: Jounin—preferably team Description: When entering and exiting the village, civilians have gone missing. It is mostly traders and mail carriers, which is suspicious. An enemy may be in the vicinity and plotting an attack or trying to weaken the village. A Jounin or a group must be sent out to investigate. Objective: Investigate the situation and find out exactly what is causing the disappearance. Track and locate the criminal, rescue the civilians if they are alive, and bring back the perpetrator for interrogation. Risk: High—potentially fatal from battle Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Assassination Rank: A Ninja needed: Jounin Description: Tension is growing between villages, and the offensive must be taken. A Jounin, proficient in assassination and stealth, is needed to infiltrate the borders of an enemy village and assassinate a daimyo. Objective: Assassinate a daimyo quickly and efficiently and get out of the village, preferably before the leaders know the target has been killed or suspects the mission completer’s village of the deed. Risk: High—potentially being found out, arrested, tortured and/or killed Failure likelihood: High
Name of Mission: Recon Rank: A Ninja needed: Jounin—preferably a group Description: Akatsuki is rumored to be weakening, but a new group is also rumored to be on the rise. The group could be a new great threat in place of Akatsuki, so as much information is needed on the new group. Objective: Locate and track suspicious criminals who may be involved in the formation of the new group and report back to the village immediately. Risk: High—potentially found out and attacked, varies in death possibility Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Rabble-rousers Rank: A Ninja needed: Jounin—a team Description: An underground rebel organization is running. Their numbers aren't many, but their knowledge is vast. They once weren't feared, as all they did was talk. Now, they have found hidden documents that contain forbidden jutsu, and they plan to use it against the village. One of the ex-members of the group has leaked this information to the Kage, and immediate action must be taken. Though not as high scale as Akatsuki, small organized crime must be handled promptly. Objective: Retrieve the scrolls stolen by the organization and pick off their members. Risk: High—potentially found out and attacked, varies in death possibility Failure likelihood: Medium to high
Name of Mission: Kidnapped Rank: A Ninja needed: Jounin Description: A woman has lost her child. The young boy of only five has been kidnapped by lowly villains. No one knows the exact location, or who the villains even really are. A single letter has been left for the woman to find her son. "Back and forth the battles go. Where they began, who knows? Age old battles, fighting for gold. Down by the lake, pottery is sold." Look through this letter carefully. All that is known is that there is a shack right outside the village wall in the very back of the wall. It would be a good place to investigate. Objective: Investigate the scene and retrieve the boy to return home safely. Take down the criminals; though be mindful of their power levels. Risk: Unknown—most likely medium to high. Potentially fatal for battles and tracking, also boy may be killed Failure likelihood: Unknown—most likely medium
S Ranked
Name of Mission: Hunt Rank: S Ninja needed: High ranked Jounin to ANBU—squads Description: The Akatsuki is a mutual problem most of the villages, and their motives are beginning to perturb the leaders. They must be stopped at all costs. Objective: Kill one specified Akatsuki member—it is preferred they are returned to the village alive for information and torture. Risk: Very high—death likely from battle and travels Failure likelihood: High
Name of Mission: Akatsuki Information Rank: S Ninja needed: High ranked Jounin to ANBU—squads, preferably ninja specialized in spying Description: The Akatsuki is a mutual problem most of the villages and their motives are beginning to perturb the leaders. They must be stopped at all costs, but information on their plans and movements would be helpful. Squads must be dispatched to track their members. Objective: Track the specified target and try to get as much information as possible from them by pursuing them silently and vigilantly. Risk: Very high—death likely from battle and travels as well as risk of being found out Failure likelihood: High
Name of Mission: Escort Rank: S Ninja needed: High ranked Jounin or ANBU Description: The Kage of the village is traveling to an allied country to discuss and hold a meeting with the ally. He or she must make in on time and unharmed. Objective: Guard the Kage at all costs to escort them across the borders and protect them even inside the village until they are safely home again. Risk: Medium to high—potential to be intercepted or attacked; travels potentially long as well Failure likelihood: Varies, but it is not expected to fail
Name of Mission: Warehouse Rank: S Ninja Needed: Jounin or ANBU Description: Illegal items are being held in a warehouse surrounded by sentries. They are prepared for battle, knowing that someone will come to take the goods. There are guards atop the roofs, armed with bow and arrow. There is also security dogs placed around the center room of the warehouse. This entry will not be easy. It is best to remain undetected, but if detection happens, deal with the problem quickly. If noise is heard, you won’t be able to make it out alive. Objective: Infiltrate the building silently to investigate and take anything of importance to squash the rebellion that seems to be forming from some missing ninja. Risk: High—Being caught, imprisoned, killed and/or tortured. Stealth is absolutely imperative. Failure Likelihood: High
Name of Mission: Document Retrieval Rank: S Ninja needed: Jounin or ANBU Description: A gang of bandits has somehow infiltrated the village's walls, and stolen important documents from the Kage's office. Only the bandits and Kage know exactly what these documents contain. It's not a matter of snooping around to find out what the words are, it's about getting out of the bandit camp alive. Most of the bandits are high-ranked missing nin, and they have no sense of morality. They fight dirty, not caring about honor. They'll more than happily stab a man in the back without giving him the chance to fight. The camp is small, but the area around it is large, and well concealed with brush. Bandits can be anywhere at anytime. If you are off-guard, you'll end up dead without even the luxury of a dirt burial. Remember, these are thieves, and good ones at that. What kind of weapons they have is a mystery. Objective: Infiltrate the camp and retrieve the documents quickly. They contain vital information and must be brought back immediately. The thieves must be killed off as well for what they know. Risk: High—potential death from battles and ambush Failure likelihood: High
